Life as a mum is full-on. Between school runs, packed lunches, and trying to keep up with never-ending laundry, it’s easy to forget about ourselves. That’s why we’re talking about two super important things today: checking in with yourself and creating your ideal day—because you deserve both!

1. When Did You Last Check In With Yourself?

Be honest—how often do you stop and really ask yourself, “How am I feeling today?” As mums, we spend so much time making sure everyone else is okay, but what about us?

In our Mums Club Group Chat, we’ve started a simple but powerful practice: we rate how we’re feeling on a scale from 1 to 10. If someone in our group chat drops a 5 or below, we know it’s time to reach out—whether it’s grabbing a coffee, having a quick chat, or just sending a supportive message.

It’s a small habit, but it makes a huge difference. Mental load, loneliness, and burnout are real, but having a circle of women who get it can be a game-changer. So, ask yourself right now: What’s your number today? If it’s lower than you’d like, reach out. You don’t have to do this alone.

2. What Would Your Ideal Day Look Like?

Now, let’s dream for a minute. What would a perfect day look like for you? Not a day that’s just about getting things done, but a day that truly makes you feel happy, recharged, and fulfilled.

Here’s a little inspiration:

☀️ Morning: Waking up before the kids (for once!), enjoying a hot coffee in peace, and having a moment to yourself before the chaos begins.

💆‍♀️ Midday: A walk in the sun, a catch-up with a friend, or even just sitting down with a book while the little ones nap.

👩‍👧‍👦 Afternoon: Playing with the kids without worrying about housework, letting go of the guilt, and just enjoying the moment.

🍷 Evening: A relaxing bath, a glass of wine (or tea!), and an early night with zero guilt.

Your ideal day doesn’t have to be fancy or extravagant—it just needs to be yours. What little things could you add into your daily routine to bring more joy?
